description: MASTER copy of all Facilities (Trash Racks, Wiers), Water Quality (samplers), and CIP geographic data. Created 12/22/09 - cm Previous feature class data held in individual layers will be archived at : H:\GIS_Database_Archive\RWMWD_Access_FeatureClasses12_22_09.gdb. As of 12/22/09, however, these feature classes are our of date and will need to be cross referenced with this master point data file. The combined metadata is as follows: 1. CIP: Capital improvement projects are long term/permanent solutions to flood control and water quality problems. Although most of these are 'pond and pipe' style approaches, many of them also incorporate habitat restoration. Such projects are listed in the Natural Resources area of the rwmwd.org website This data was created using descriptive information on current and past Capital Improvement Projects at RWMWD. Items were added, merged, or exploded on 10/13/09 in preparation of Access Database coordination (cm). Tom Burns, Database of Original shapefile format available at D:\GIS_DATA_FOLDER\rwmwdnoncore\Projects\Capital_Improvement_CIP\CIP_2007.shp. Changes: 1/6/10 - cm - removed Kohlman Basin Area WQ Enhancements in favor of showing the two component projects as individual CIPs - Enhanced Sand Filter and Permeable Limestone Barrier. 2. Facilities: Former Name: Maintenance_pts Backup Feature Class (out of date as of 11/10/09-cm) at RWMWDcore\RWMWD_Asset_Management.mdb\Facilities\Facilities. Backup shapefile at D:\GIS_DATA_FOLDER\rwmwdnoncore\Shapefiles\maintenance.shp Data maintained by: Carrie Mack, RWMWD Physical sites included in this dataset maintained by: Eric Korte and David Vlasin, Water Quality Program at RWMWD Points depicting District sites requiring ongoing upkeep or maintenance. These include, but are not limited to, outlet structures, basins, wiers, overflow structures, waterfalls, etc. Maintenance duties include cleaning out debris, assessing for erosion issues, repairing/replacing sampling equipment, assessing public safety measures if necessary, etc. 3. Water Quality: Point locations for Water Quality assets including permanent and grab samplers, IDDE sites, lake littoral and deep hole sites, Ramsey Co. sampling sites, equipment blanks, lake level stations, rain gauges, creeks, and NR sites. Feature Class is new as of 11/10/09. Points are from hard copy and Excel tables managed by Water Quality (WQ) staff and were digitized with help from WQ Staff, Dave Valisin and Eric Korte.8/2/13 - Two IDDE points were removed after assessing SWPPP outfall locations. Carver #11 (meters: 501993.55 4972348.8) was removed because the pipe does not belong to RWMWD. Tanners Lake Launch #5 (meters: 501610.77 4977663.11) was removed because it is not an outfall point (the outfall is between the pier and the beach, Tanners Lake Outfall #3). IDDE numbers 16-22 were added at this time.4/2015: Master file was moved to S:\ drive so it could be accessed by Nicole and Simba during CM's maternity leave, and so other users would constantly see and update the master data.12/8/15: Added "Projects" to the master point file. For right now, these will NOT link to a Location ID in the Locations Database because they do not have inspections. Do so as necessary in the future.
